    A fun and inspiring experience! The Wim Hof Method Fundamentals workshop felt very complete, including accessible biological explanations and demonstrations, practical exercises, and an exciting guided ice bath to take a step towards your own hidden 'superhuman' abilities and demonstrate the efficacy of these techniques. Despite the perhaps intimidating/macho theme, all of this was made light and fun by David and his infectious warmth and enthusiasm. Thank you David!

  • Attended a Wim-Hof workshop with David as part of a team event a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic! David and his assitant for the day Roderick were both very knowledgable and professional and made us all feel very comfortable when performing the breathing sessions and the ice bath.     This was a great experience! I have known Dave for over 30 years but was brand new to Wim Hof. My family was visiting Amsterdam and I took the train to Den Bosch. Super easy train ride. Dave is a great instructor. I was intimidated by the cold plunge at the end but I made myself do it and it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I highly recommend this session!!!

What to expect at a Falcon Inspire WHM workshop

A typical workshop lasts around 5 hours and includes training in multiple breathing techniques designed to fire you up for athletic performance, or wind you down before a restful night of sleep. You will be your own test subject as we explore the science behind the WHM. We learn the basics of how Wim commands his body to interact with harsh conditions, directs blood and oxygen around his body at will, and unleashes the power of his mind. And if you choose, the ice bath awaits to give you a chance to unleash your true potential.

A Safe and Inclusive Environment

We want you to leave your worries at the door and relax. A relaxed body and mind are in the best state to receive new sensory inputs and reconnect with your life force: your breath! While we will encourage you explore outside of your comfort zone, it’s always at your pace and never forced.

Lots of Breathing!

We breathe on average 20,000 times per day, often without giving it much thought. How we breathe is something we can consciously control; not only when we are awake, but also when we sleep. We are going to practice breathing for more energy & focus, and breathing for stress reduction & relaxation.

The Theory Behind the Practice

Our aim is not to hit you over the head with scientific jargon, but research supporting the health benefits of “better breathing” is continuing to emerge. Knowing some of the theory, combined with the sensations you feel, we hope propels you to continue your breathing journey after the workshop.
Breath is the ultimate life-giver. When we breathe, cogen (02) is delivered through our lungs while carbon dioxide (CO2) flows out. There are two ways you can breathe in oxygen:

It’s physical, mental spiritual and communal-all wrapped up in a simple cold dip
Many people are initially attracted to the WHM because they see happy people in ice baths or a freezing lake, & they are intrigued. Your first dip in the cold will test you physically, you will feel the effects of your blood traveling from the extremities to your core. It will test you mentally, it’s mind over body on you breathe steadily and tell your body to relax. It’s spiritual as you become one with the cold and live in the moment. Most important, it rekindles our tribal instinct to support each other when it’s tough, and to celebrate together as we enjoy that adrenaline and dopamine kick!
So, here is a question: Are we open and searching for the things that excite us and feel important to us? Or are we simply letting life happen to us, for better or worse? Are we approaching or avoiding? Taking the tougher road con seem daunting at first, and it’s easy to leaving our comfort.
The cold can be merciless, challenging, harsh, and painful. Yet we go into the cold and face it bravely,ittle bytte. Our ability to face discomfort makes us paychologically stronger, builds resilience to stress and enhances our bravery.
The cold can teach us this shift in mindset. When we believe in our ability to face discomfort, we can withstand much more than just the cold it helps us through the adventure offe.
