The Wim Hof Method Fundamentals workshop felt very complete, including accessible biological explanations and demonstrations, practical exercises, and an exciting guided ice bath to take a step towards your own hidden 'superhuman' abilities and demonstrate the efficacy of these techniques. Lots of Breathing!
We breathe on average 20,000 times per day, often without giving it much thought. How we breathe is something we can consciously control; not only when we are awake, but also when we sleep. We are going to practice breathing for more energy & focus, and breathing for stress reduction & relaxation.
The Theory Behind the Practice
Our aim is not to hit you over the head with scientific jargon, but research supporting the health benefits of “better breathing” is continuing to emerge. Knowing some of the theory, combined with the sensations you feel, we hope propels you to continue your breathing journey after the workshop.
